Need a few extra dollars? Sell your books online

OK, yes I have discovered another online service that pays. (Man, I have too much time on my hands!) Cash4Books.net actually pays you for books that you have sitting around and even covers the shipping charges to them. Click on the link at the bottom of my page to get there and to see how easy it is. I have bookshelves full of books that I have been going through and sending in. You won't get rich but you can at least kill 2 birds with one stone - a few extra bucks and organizing your office! Ok, you might get a little rich if you have a library full but with Christmas coming up, I bet you can sell enough to pay for at least one gift for a little one.

Until next time,

Attn All QueenBees - Online Surveys that do pay!

Check out http://www.mysurvey.com/ and sign up. For those of you that have the time and don't mind answering online surveys periodically, then why not receive points that can be converted to cash. I have been using this online survey program for years and have cashed out or used my points for products. Plus, some surveys will send you products to sample before they hit the market and all you need to do is comment on how you liked the product. This is definitely not a get rich quick idea, but you can earn some extra cash!

MyPoints and Free Money

If you haven't been using MyPoints.com for your online shopping needs, you are missing out on free money. This is super easy to use and also you get 5 points for every email you read. Different point values yield gift cards in various amounts from a large database of retailers. You will get emails everyday and all you need to do is click on the active link to get your 5 points. Plus, if you are on board with online shopping, then search their website for retailers and each one will tell you how many points you get per dollar spent. This is an easy way to get great rewards. I am a fan of the Lowe's gift card and Home Depot gift card. I have received over $500 in gift cards and I don't do a whole lot of online shopping. Mostly, I just receive the emails and click on the active links that take me to the retailer's website. You don't have to shop or browse to get your 5 points. But, I can tell you that you will get some really great deals so they are worth checking out. Just another tip that I thought I would share!

Until next time,

Yet another use for Pledge Multi-Purpose

Who knew that Pledge Multi-Purpose can do a quick shine on a leather purse and shoes?!! I'm telling you that it works. I was in a rush getting ready for a last minute interview and hadn't worn my black heals since early 2008 and they looked a little dull. I had just cleaned my bedroom and the bottle of Pledge was sitting on my nightstand so I figured "why not try it?". Granted a good shoe polishing works best every time, but if you are in a hurry and want to clean up your shoes or leather purse, try it. I would test in an inconspicuous area first to make sure that the dye in the leather doesn't bleed. I used it on my $400 purse and it looked great! Unemployed now with too much time on my hands so check back often for more tips that I come up with in my state of boredom!

Until next time,
